Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on a server operated by us (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany). When you visit the website, the server automatically stores technical information such as IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, browser and operating system in log files. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a maximum of 14 days.
No tracking
This website does not use analytics or tracking tools and does not set cookies itself. Fonts are hosted on our own server; no data is transferred to font providers.
Project inquiry form
The inquiry form is loaded from our customer relationship management system crmsaas.io (self-hosted) at crm.damiangawenda.com. The data you enter (e.g. name, email, company, message, attached files) is processed to answer your inquiry and to prepare a potential contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted when it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
When the form loads, the CRM sets two technically necessary cookies: a security token that protects against forged submissions (deleted after one hour) and a session cookie (deleted after eight hours). They are required to submit the form securely (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are not used for tracking.
Appointment booking and video calls
Calls are booked on our own CRM system at crm.damiangawenda.com. The booking calendar is only loaded when you click a booking button; it then opens in a window on this page. When you book, we process your name, email address and, if provided, your note to schedule and hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted when it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
When the booking calendar loads, the CRM sets the same technically necessary cookies as the inquiry form (security token and session cookie, see above; § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). They are not used for tracking.
Video calls take place on our own server at live.damiangawenda.com. Audio and video, your display name and technical connection data such as your IP address are processed solely to conduct the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use external providers such as Cal.com or Daily.co for appointment booking or video calls.
Client portal
Existing clients can log in to our client portal at crm.damiangawenda.com. The portal uses technically necessary cookies for login and session handling. Data processed in the portal is used to fulfil our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us at contact@damiangawenda.com.
