Built a credit card billing and commission system for Deutsche Bank that processed millions of transactions, automated complex business rules, and delivered enterprise-grade reporting.

The Challenge:
Deutsche Bank needed a credit card billing system that could handle intricate business rules, compute commissions across merchant networks, and produce detailed sales reports for enterprise clients. The current infrastructure lacked the scalability and flexibility to meet evolving business needs.

The Solution:
A comprehensive billing infrastructure was designed and developed using Oracle PL/SQL, providing:

  • A rules engine that automated credit card billing with adaptable, maintainable business logic
  • A recursive commission calculation system that tracked and computed fees across connected merchant networks
  • An enterprise sales reporting system with advanced filtering capabilities to support complex business analysis

The Result:
The system efficiently processed millions of transactions with high reliability, significantly reduced manual billing errors, and offered the bank real-time insights into merchant performance. Its modular architecture allowed for business rule updates without system downtime, ensuring continuous operations.
